The Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival empowers our diverse LGBTQ-māhū-aikāne communities through the power of storytelling, and 2023 marks our 34th year of programming!

Enjoy a spectacular weekend of queer films, September 8-10, as HRFF34 lights up the screen at the Doris Duke Theater with five amazing features to enjoy with friends and community. The in-person theatrical screenings will be followed by a week of fun and fanciful queer shorts streaming online for free September 11-18.

We’re especially proud to spotlight MY PARTNER, a touching tale of high school crushes and cultural preservation — and Hawaiʻi’s first LGBTQ+ boy love feature film — as the festival’s Closing Film, followed by a celebratory Sunday afternoon After Party at Hula’s to honor the cast and crew and festival founder Jack Law.

All Access Passes are a great value and the best way to experience HRFF34!
