Dear Friend of the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival,
Join us as we begin celebration of a momentous 20th Anniversary. The annual event will once again occur over Memorial Day weekend (May 21-24) and the screenings and gala will be held exclusively at the Honolulu Academy of Arts' Doris Duke Theatre and adjacent Luce Pavilion.
In addition to the outstanding cross section of LGBT films premiered before movie theater and DVD release, the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival began hosting monthly screenings this year which are held the second Friday of each month at 7 pm at Unity Church for a fee of $5 General and $3 Students. Please refer to our website for information on the screenings.
For the past few years, HGLCF has maintained ticket and gala prices without a price increase and hope to do so this year, however ticket and gala sales only partially cover the expense of producing the Festival.
The HGLCF would sincerely appreciate any financial support you may be able to offer which will enable us to continue our festival in the tradition you have enjoyed in the past. Your contribution can be used for a tax deduction, as the HGLCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so any contributions you give are tax deductible.
